Receive Webhook

POST 
/v1/hooks/:workflow_id

Receive external webhook and trigger workflow.

This endpoint is PUBLIC (no authentication) to allow external services like Stripe, Shopify, Calendly, etc. to send webhooks.

Security is handled via:

  1. Workflow-specific webhook secrets (configured in trigger_config.webhook_secret)
  2. Signature verification (Stripe, Shopify, or generic HMAC-SHA256)

Endpoint format: POST /v1/hooks/{workflow_id}

The workflow can also use a URL slug instead of UUID for cleaner URLs:

  • POST /v1/hooks/stripe-payment-workflow
  • POST /v1/hooks/shopify-order-webhook

Args: workflow_id: UUID or slug of the workflow to trigger

Returns:

  • execution_id: UUID of the execution
  • status: "queued" (async execution)
